How to Check a Suspected ASIA818 Fake Website
Inspect the complete address before entering an account credential, OTP or payment detail.

Read the address
A copied logo does not verify a hostname.
Reveal the full browser address and read it character by character. Look for misspellings, added words, misleading subdomains and links shortened inside unsolicited messages. Do not rely on a screenshot or page design as proof.

- 01The message creates urgency or promises an unexpected reward.
- 02The link arrived from an unknown WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or social account.
- 03The page asks for an OTP, recovery code or banking password.
- 04A payment or fee is demanded to release supposed winnings.
- 05The hostname differs from the route you previously verified.
If information was entered
Contain the exposure quickly.
Close the page and change affected credentials through a verified route. Review account and bank activity. If financial details or an OTP were exposed, contact the bank immediately. Singapore Police advises checking suspicious communications through official sources and reporting fraudulent transactions promptly.
